  DAY 6 1/5/22, SUNDAY The day started with the assembly by Group 5 (APJ Abdul Kalam group). It was followed by a session on “Inclusive Education” by Shri. KL Nagaraju (Assistant Commissioner Rtd, Bengaluru Region). The guest speaker stressed the importance of including the groups with special needs into our educational system and the areas in which library can also be made a part of inclusive education. Soon after, the participants were carried away by the stirring session by Sri Rajendran (TA, ZIET Mysore) on communication skills and the ways to improve communication. It was truly an interactive session in which the participants were involved in group activities on communication in English. The third and the fourth session was a hands-on session on e-Granthalaya, and its installation which was helpful and most important to the participants.

  DAY 5 30/4/22, SATURDAY दिनांक २९.४.२२ को पांचवे दिन की शुरुआत टैगोर समूह के प्रार्थना से हुई। अंतर्रराष्ट्रीय नृत्य दिवस के अवसर पर सभी ने नृत्य में भाग लिया। प्रथम सत्र की शुरुआत अतिथि श्री गंगा नायक , ज़िला अग्नि अधिकारी , मैसूर द्वारा की गई। उन्होंने आग के प्रकार , उनके नियंत्रण तथा अग्निशामक के प्रयोग के सभी पहलुओं पर विस्तृत रूप से जानकारी दी। द्वितीय सत्र की शुरुआत श्री एस मुरुगन , प्रशिक्षु सहयोगी (इतिहास) , ziet मैसूर द्वारा व्यवसायिक नैतिकता पर की गई। उन्होंने जीवन और व्यवसायिक जीवन में नैतिकता के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला।     तीसरा सत्र श्री डी के सिंह , पाठ्यक्रम समन्वयक ziet मैसूर द्वारा लिया गया। उन्होंने ई-ग्रंथालय के इंस्टालेशन पर बहुत प्रभावी तरीके से जानकारी दी। तीसरा सत्र श्री डी के सिंह , पाठ्यक्रम समन्वयक ziet मैसूर द्वारा लिया गया।

  DAY 3 27/04/22, WEDNESDAY दिनांक २७/०४/२०२२ पुस्ताकयाध्यक्षों के लिए आयोजित २१ दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण तृतीय दिवस   दिन की शुरुआत प्रातः कालीन सभा से हुई |सभा की सम्पूर्ण व्यवस्था एवं सराहनीय गतिविधियों प्रमचंद समूह के द्वारा आयोजित कि गई| प्रातः कालीन सभा के उपरान्त मैडम रमा रैना, पाठ्यक्रम सह-समन्वयक ZIET , मैसूरू एक प्रभावशाली वक्ता होने की आवश्यकता, महत्व एवं प्रस्तुति के गु ण सिखाये| इसके पशचात श्रीमती एम भाग्यलक्ष्मी , प्राचार्या , के वि BRBNMPL , मैसूरू एवं सह-पाठ्यक्रम-निदेशक ने सभी प्रतिभागियों को प्रोत्साहित करते हुए सेवाकालीन प्रशिक्षण कि महत्ता बताई एवं अपने स्वास्थ्य का ध्यान रखने की   आवश्यकता बताई| पाठ्यक्रम के प्रथम सत्र में श्रीमान मुजीब रहमान संसाधक द्वारा ‘ब्लॉगर ‘ विषय के सभी सैद्धांतिक एवं व्यावहारिक पक्षों को विस्तार से समझाया गया| उन्होंने ब्लॉगर की विशेषताएं , पोस्ट बनाने, साझा करने, व्यवस्थित कर्नीवं अन्य क्षेत्रों का विस्तार से व्याख्या की | यह सत्र प्रभावशाली, ज्ञानवर्धक, संवाद पूर्ण एवं प्रश्नोत्तरी युक्त था| अगले सत्र का विषय “ CCS ( CONDUCT...

Librarians play a dynamic role to motivate and educate teachers, students, and parents about the function of Vidyalaya in the correct direction.   She/He can help teachers and students ideate and make some persuasive slogans, and advertisements for books, write abstracts, prepare learning logs, and charts, and plan activities around the books. She/He shall ensure that there is not only circulation of books in class libraries but also the resources prepared by a teacher are shared.

  DAY: 4 29/4/22,  The fourth day started with the morning assembly by Group 3 (Ranganathan group) which was conducted with intense devotion and full team spirit. The assembly program was appreciated by the course coordinator as well as by the resource persons. The first session was by Prof. N. S Hari Narayana (Department of Library and Information Science, University of Mysuru). His lecture was on the topic “Trends in cataloguing” in which he clearly discussed AACR2 and its latest version RDA. The second session was by the resource person Shri. Mujib Rahman who imparted more knowledge on Google sites and how to host your library websites.   26/04/22, TUESDAY The second day started at 9 am with the morning assembly by the Group 1 (Veda Vyas) participants with great vigor and team spirit. After that Smt. Rumma Raina gave an awareness to the participants to stay healthy and safe. It was followed by the session by Smt Archana Srivastava on the topic of librarian’s responsibilities as per NEP2022. Through her interactive session, she explained the duties of librarian and how to manage school libraries.   The day started with the inaugural function by lighting the lamp by the chief guest Shri. Sampanna, Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore Region. In his address, he stressed the changing role of librarian and the importance of communication skills, personality development and 21 st century soft skills which helps in developing the relation between the reader and the librarian.     SOCIAL MEDIA, SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES, AND APPLICATIONS IN THE LIBRARY User approach towards library is changing gradually; it wants the most practical and speed information in the e-learning age. But retrieving quick and easy information from users is a big challenge for library professionals. Social media helps library professionals to share information with patrons and students in the easiest way for the digital library environment. That social networking tools were helpful in promoting library services was consistent with the finding that the two most reported purposes for which libraries used social networking tools were the  promotion of library events such as exhibitions, competitions, talks, seminars, workshops, tutorials, training courses and dissemination of news events alert, library updates. Purposes for using social networking tools, included the following to offer to convey general library information and offer online resources.
